The General Class HamCram is a guided self-study course followed by three classes that teach everything you need to become a General Class FCC Licensed Radio Amateur. The official FCC General Class license test is included in the class. Students must have a current FCC Technician Class license and be prepared to attend classroom sessions on February 18, February 25 and March 4, 2017. The classes will be held at Mill Springs Academy in Alpharetta, GA from 8:00AM until 4:00PM each Saturday. Click here to view a Google map of the school's location. You must be present for all of the sessions to take the test.
The $40 registration fee covers training materials, lunch, snacks, drinks, and the FCC test fee.
Our staff will contact you shortly after registration closes to let you know how to prepare for the class and provide further details.
If you are under the age of 16, please include your age in the "Age" input area below. Also, if you are under 16, have a parent bring you to the HamCram session and sign a permission slip indicating their approval for you to take the course. We would like parents to stay for the course, however if that is not possible, we will ask your parent to leave a contact phone number at which we can quickly reach them in case of an emergency.
The cut-off date for registration and payment is end of day January 31, 2017.
We look forward to seeing you in the class!!
