Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES)

The Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES) consists of licensed amateurs who have voluntarily registered their qualifications and equipment for communications duty in the public service when disaster strikes.

NFARL supports and endorses membership in the North Fulton ARES group.
This affiliated group meets once per month and holds regular training exercises. They work with government and health organizations in Sandy Springs, Roswell, Alpharetta, Milton and Johns Creek, GA.

The weekly North Fulton ARES net is held Sundays at 8:30PM on 147.06 (+).
